THE 18 holes stableford event will be played at the Ba Golf Club on Sunday. Tee off: 12.30pm. Entry fees: $5. Starters: Sunil Sharma, Ravinesh Chand.


THE Metal Works & Joinery Limited/Islands Pacific Apparel Summer Cup round two will be played at the Nadi Airport Golf Club tomorrow. Tee off: 11.30am-1.30pm. Starters: Ritesh Chandra, Zoheer Ahmed. Southern Women

National Football League

ALL Fiji Sun - Skipper Tuna National Football League 2014 that was scheduled to be played this weekend has been called off due to current adverse weather conditions throughout the country. This also includes the pre-season futsal tournament which was to be played in Suva and Ba on the 01/02 March 2014. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.

The Stingers Women's Hockey Club is looking for young, dynamic and interested young ladies to join their club this season. No one is too young or too old to join. FSC Business House

Lautoka Men's and Mixed

ALL clubs and teams interested are invited to join the Lautoka Men's and Mixed Netball Association this season. Registration is $150 per club and registration closes on April 3. Umpires Retreat

TO all Fiji Netball Umpires in all districts in Suva, Nausori, Tailevu, Nasinu, Korovou, Vatukoula, Ra, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, Nadroga, Navosa, Serua and Namosi. There will be a Fiji Umpires Retreat and Workshop on Friday 4th, Sat 5th and Sun 6th April 2014. This workshop will be held in Sigatoka hosted by the Navosa Netball Umpires Commission. The workshops will be conducted to cater for Beginner Umpires, Fiji National Badges A,B,C, Oceania Umpires and Zone Umpires as well. You are required to prepare $20 towards this workshop and we will accommodate the first 50 umpires that will confirm and pay by 28th March 2014. THE Vanua Challenge scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions Fiji is currently facing. Tentative date for the tournament is March 21 and 22 at the FMF Gymnasium
