Adhere to weather warnings

Update: 3:40PM THE Fiji Navy is encouraging villagers in the maritime group to continue to adhere to weather warnings and advice.

Commander John Fox said while appropriate authorities had done a great job in providing people with weather updates, it was important that people followed advice to avoid disappointment.

"We have 180 officers on standby, however, we will await the call from the National Disaster Management Office for assistance," Commander  Fox said.
