West towns face intermittent power supply

Update: 12:37PM NADI is still facing intermittent power supply as it braces itself for more heavy downpours brought on by a tropical depression that hangs over the Fiji Group.

Special administrator Robin Ali said shop owners had opened their stores but some were facing difficulties because of the power outage.

"We do not think flooding will occur because the river levels are quite low at this point but we are monitoring the situation," he said.

Meanwhile, Rakiraki and Tavua have reported similar  problems while supply in parts of Lautoka has been restored.
