WAF: Store water now

Update: 11:55AM WATER Authority of Fiji customers should expect disruptions to their water supply after a power blackout this morning.

WAF CEO Opetaia Ravai said customers should be storing water as part of their preparations.

"Due to this natural phenomenon it is obvious that there will be an increased probability of water disruptions," Mr Ravai said in a statement this morning.

"Hence the need for customers to start storing water now, rather than waiting till the last hour."
