Shops close in the Capital City

Update: 10:12AM MORE than 90 per cent of shops in Suva are closed as shop owners join the thousands around the country to prepare for the inclement weather.

Suva Retailers Association president Himmat Lodhia said they had advised retailers to keep their shops closed and take due precautions.

"At present over 90 per cent of shops are closed and we have advised people to keep the shops closed and look after their stocks," Mr Lodhia said.
