MINISTER for Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management Lieutenant Colonel Inia Seruiratu says there will be more rain over the next few days and people should prepare for it.

At a meeting with heads of government department in the Western Division yesterday, he warned against last-minute preparations.

Those attending the Lautoka meeting included officials from health, Water Authority of Fiji, the district office, education and the provincial councils.

Mr Seruiratu said the Prime Minister had stressed that all government departments should prepare well.
