Sea travel warning

Update: 12:39PM MARINERS are being asked to refrain from venturing out to sea unnecessarily.

The Fiji Meteorological Service says a strong wind warning remains in force for all Fiji waters.

Mariners can expect northwest to southeast winds from 20 to 25 knots, gusting to 40 knots and rough seas with moderate southwest swells.

Poor visibility in areas of heavy rain and thunderstorms can also be expected.
