NATIONAL under-20 manager Paula Biu has recruited two players from the Yasawa High School 7s team to attend the trials in Nadi on Saturday.

The former national rep who was at the Nacula 7s in Yasawa last weekend with coach Ben Ryan said the two players were outstanding at the Nacula 7s tournament.

"The two players will attend the West trials where they will compete against the other Western boys named in the training squad," said Biu.

"These two boys were selected through Ben's recommendation and in consultation with the national under-20 coaches.

"It will be interesting to see these two boys being exposed to tough competition such as the trials."

Biu said the names of the two players would be made public on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the following players have been selected for the East trials to be held at Bidesi Park on Friday 10.30am.
