Chandra in top form

BA golfer Vikrant Chandra continued his fine form on the New Zealand PGA Tour on the weekend.

Chandra finished tied for 14th position at the Mondiale Omaha Beach Golf Club Pro-Am competition.

He scored 74 in the first round and 69 in the second round for a total of one under par 143.

The tournament was won by Dominic Barson after a sudden death play-off with Jordan Dasler and Grant Moorhead.

They all scored five under par 139 in the 36 holes event.

Chandra will now participate in the final stage qualifier for the New Zealand Open Championship which will be held from February 27 to March 2 in Queenstown.
