Weatherman issues strong wind warning

Update: 12:50PM A STRONG wind warning is now in force for Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands and the Western parts of Viti Levu.

The Fiji Meteorological Service issued this warning this morning.

"A trough of low pressure lies to the north of Fiji. A tropical depression is expected to develop to the west of Fiji and gradually move towards the group from Tuesday. Associated active rain and cloud bands are expected to affect the country from tomorrow afternoon."
