THE biggest names in Fiji's tourism industry will be out in numbers at the 17th AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism 2013 Awards.

Held tonight at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau, 13 awards will be up for grabs with the Frontliner of the Year and Back of House categories, anticipated to produce the biggest winners of the night.

Coral Coast-based Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort and Spa and InterContinental Resort and Spa are short-listed in four different categories.

For Outrigger, the resort is fighting for the top prize in the Fiji Experience award for the multi-award winning Bebe Spa, and the accommodation deluxe, accommodation luxury and restaurants categories.

InterContinental Resort received nominations under the Tourism Sustainability, Spa and Wellness, Restaurants and Accommodation Luxury group.

The Fiji Experience has an interesting line-up from various activity-based providers.
