Update: 11:25AM RATU Irivi Draunidalo, from the vanua Navucunimasi of Moala, is presenting the eulogy for Rev Dr Tuikilakila Waqairatu on behalf of the people of Moala, Lau.

He said Waqairatu was best known for his humility, he knew his links in the vanua and also mastered mending relationships.

The late president's first cousin said he contributed immensely to the development of his vanua and that of the church.

Ratu Irivi said Waqairatu always emphasised the need to read the Word of God a lot, and to ask the Lord for its meaning.
