Cocaine bust: Police question 23-year-old man

Update: 4:49PM COCAINE weighing 20.5 kilograms and worth $6.1million was found in a luggage of a foreign national who arrived in Fiji last Tuesday.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokmomuri said the 23-year-old man was being interrogated by police at the CID headquarters in Suva.

The man's luggage arrived a few days later and upon examination, two containers filled with the drugs were found inside the luggage.

Test results revealed it was cocaine, he said.

The man was arrested yesterday after evading police for almost a week.
