Defence counsel objects to use of photographs

Update: 12:30PM DEFENCE counsel in a murder case made an application objecting to the use of photographs to show the extent of injuries received by the victim.

Davendra Naiker is charged with murder.

He is alleged to have murdered a taxidriver in Korociriciri, Nausori in 2011.

State prosecution said they were objecting to the application.

Defence has been given two weeks to file their submissions while the prosecution have stated they will respond orally to the defence submissions.
