April date for bauxite shipment

Update: 2:04PM AURUM Exploration Fiji Ltd will send its first bauxite shipment for this year in April.

The delayed shipment has been attributed to the continuous wet weather conditions recently experienced in the North, affecting work at the mine.

Company director Sang Lei said mining started off on a slow pace this year compared to last year.

In January last year, we sent out our first shipment and the weather was much better than what we are experiencing now.
