USPGA title hopes slip

Monday, February 17, 2014

LOS ANGELES - Aaron Baddeley remains confident he can make a run at a fourth US PGA title and second win in the Northern Trust Open despite a third round to forget at LA's Riviera Country Club.

Baddeley started the day one shot off the lead and was tied on top after four holes but eventually signed for a one-over 72 to drop to seven-under and a tie for 13th, five shots adrift of American leader William McGirt.

McGirt, 34, will attempt to claim his first US tour win, and clinch a Masters debut.
