Santok leads team to victory

THE Santok Singh-skippered Williams & Gosling team took out the Fiji Airways Open Club Fours Championship at the Nadi Sport Club last night.

The W&G team, with Jona Koroitamana, Rick Eyre and Lema Matailevu, defeated top seeds Fiji Gas 14-9 in the final.

The Fiji Gas team had David Aitcheson, Samula Tui, Arun Kumar and Curtis Mar.

In the semi-finals, Fiji Gas beat Northwind 16-3 while Williams & Gosling defeated Nadi Sport Club 15-13.

In the quarter-finals Fiji Gas defeated USA skippered by Martin Chute, Red Brick went down to Northwind, the ladies Nadi Sports Club team with Sheryl Mar, Doreen O'Conner, Sophie Khan and Maria Patel defeated Vatukoula while Williams & Gosling upset Ratish Lal's Islands Electric.
