More schools join RL

THREE new zones have joined the Vodafone Trophy in the Fiji National Rugby League Secondary School competition this season, officials announced yesterday.

The Nadroga/Navosa, Tailevu and Ra zones have joined the existing Southern and Nadi/Lautoka zones which will kick off at various venues today.

The Nadroga/Navosa zone has eight schools, Ra has six and Tailevu zone has four. The Southern zone has 12 schools. Assemblies of God High School, Wainimakutu Secondary School from Namosi and Latter-day Saints are the three new inclusions in the zone while Tailevu has Naiyala, Navuso, Sila Central and Lelean Memorial School.

The Nadroga/Navosa zone has Sigatoka Methodist, Nadroga Navosa Provincial High School, Cuvu College, Sigatoka Valley, Navosa Central, Lomawai, Sigatoka Andhra and Nasikawa Vision College.

Meanwhile Suva Grammar School grounds will host the opening round of the Southern Zone today.
