ABOUT 600 Seventh-day Adventists from the Western Division and Tailevu gathered at Sabeto in Nadi on Wednesday to greet their world president Dr Ted Wilson.

Dr Wilson, who hails from the US, was in Sabeto to mark the opening of the new $20million Fulton College.

He said the institute was forever indebted to the people of Sabeto for providing land for the facility.

"This has been given with a lot of love and respect and I commend the people of Sabeto," he said.

"Our church places a high priority on education which you can see with our over 100 years occupation in the region.

"Which is why for us, this facility is very important and also the reason I am here."

Dr Wilson first visited the site three years ago when they identified the area for landscaping and construction.
