3D printer for USP

Update: 1:02PM THE University of the South Pacific launched its new 3D printer this morning.

The printer, which cost $45,000, prints physical objects into three dimensions using ceramic powder.

USP vice chancellor Professor Rajesh Chandra said the 3D printer will now allow the university to excel more in various fields of study, especially engineering and architecture.
