Rehabilitation to start soon

WORK on the Momi Bay Hotel that was to have begun last year has been rescheduled to start in April.

FNPF chief executive Aisake Taito confirmed the rehabilitation of the existing infrastructure and continued construction of the resort would begin soon.

"We are finalising the documentation to complete the Momi Bay Hotel," he said.

"The project is scheduled to commence construction by the second quarter of 2014."

Work was to begin in 2013 with an injection of $150million from the FNPF.

Efforts to confirm the actual cost of the project proved futile.
