Australia commits $41,000 to Trade Pacifika

Update: 6:00PM THE Australian government today announced its support of more than $F41,000 for Trade Pasifika 2014.

Ambassador for the 2014 Trade Pasifika Kaliopate Tavola says the support by the Australian government will fund a good number of community partners in the region with particular focus on Women in Business and Youth in Business.

Acting Australian High Commissioner to Fiji Glen Miles said private sector development, aid for trade and empowering women and girls were key contributors to lifting standards of living for the most vulnerable in the region.
