Las Vegas loss to motivate players

THE high expectations for a win in Wellington after a poor outing in Las Vegas are being felt by the players.

National coach Ben Ryan said the players needed to use this to their advantage this weekend.

Some of the players were put in the spotlight by fans after Fiji's early exit in the US two weeks ago.

"The boys probably feel the pressure all the time," Ryan said.

"I'm sure they have seen the social sites and surely they would have had some negative comments.

"The expectation is so high in Fiji so the players will be feeling the pressure.

"You just need to use that as a positive and extra energy.

"That's how I'm trying to look at it for them."
