MINISTRY of Sugar officials visited Nadrala in the upper reaches of the Sigatoka Valley yesterday to inspect the reconstruction of eight culvert crossings that will benefit cane growers.

Sugar permanent secretary Lieutenant Colonel Manasa Vaniqi said the continued investment by the government in improving infrastructure was to ensure farmers had access to mills.

"This project is almost complete and it will not only benefit cane growers but also farmers involved in inter-cropping as well," he said.
