Fire destroys 7-bedroom home

Update: 2:04PM A SEVEN-bedroom concrete and wooden dwelling in Makoi, Nasinu was completely destroyed by fire this morning.

Roselyn Lata, 35, one of the nine people living in the property said she was away at work when the fire occurred.

 Ms Lata said one of the tenants - woman - and her son were at home when the incident occured this morning.

The fire is said to have begun shortly after 9am.

Police and the National Fire Authority are investigating the cause of the fire.
