FRA reviews Capital City's transportation strategy

Update: 11:35AM AS part of an ongoing initiative to improve transportation in the Capital City, the Fiji Roads Authority is reviewing the Greater Suva Transportation Strategy produced in 2001.

Predict Consultant, an independent external consultant awarded with the contract to carry out the strategy development, will team up with GTA Consultants (Australia) and SCOPE Pacific (Suva) to work on the project.

Predict project manager John Richardson said the study outlined a greater Suva strategy and action plan for implementing roads project, traffic management measures, public transportation initiatives, walking and cycling initiatives and road safety initiatives until 2030.
