By FELIX CHAUDHARY
Saturday, February 01, 2014

Update: 1:55PM PRIME Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is on a tour of the Western Division surveying flood affected areas.

The PM's stop at Semo Village revealed that military engineers have identified an elevated area, situated directly opposite the village, for relocation.

Commodore Bainimarama said Semo, located midway between Sigatoka and Nadi, was a high risk area because it's located next to a river prone to flooding during periods of heavy rain.

Last week 300 villagers had to be evacuated to nearby Nabau.
