Intermittent water supply

ABOUT 30 settlements in Ba can expect intermittent water supply in the coming days because of insufficient supply in the system.

A statement from the Water Authority of Fiji advised that customers would receive intermittent supply until further notice.

"This is due to low levels at Waiwai, Vaqia and Vunisamaloa reservoirs," the statement said.

"Customers residing in these affected areas are advised to reserve supply while they are receiving water."

The affected areas are Kumkum, Motoruku, Chinakoti, Moto, Tabataba, Marinitawa, Vunivaivai, Nasolo, Tarivo, Vatulaulau, Maururu, Tauvegavega, Race Course Rd, Vutuni, Yalalevu, Miha Mahajan, Nailaga, Varoko, Sarava, Navau, Navatu, Etatoko, Lavuci, Vatiyaka, Khalsa Rd, Sorokoba, Varavu, Vunisamaloa, Korovuto, Rarawai, Veisaru , Namada, Navoli, Waibuka, Koronubu and Benai.
