Update: 10:32AM AS forecasted by the Fiji Meteorological Service yesterday - apart from a few patches of clouds in the sky - the sun is out and shining in the Western Division.

The heavy rain warning previously issued for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands including the Lau Group is now cancelled.

The active trough of low pressure that brough heavy rain and strong winds over the past 48 hours now lies to the east of Fiji and moving away from the country.
