Flights cancelled

Felix Chaudhary
Friday, January 31, 2014

HEAVY rain and poor visibility forced the cancellation of domestic flights by Fiji Airways domestic carrier Fiji Link yesterday.

Managing director and CEO Stefan Pichler said as a result of the adverse weather conditions a decision was made to cancel the Nadi-Labasa-Nadi flight on Wednesday and a Nadi-Savusavu-Taveuni service yesterday morning.

While most international flights went on time, one flight was delayed because of inclement weather.
