FRA travel advisory: Exercise extreme caution

Update: 6:38PM THE Fiji Roads Authority has announced that as at 4pm, the Queens Road from Suva to Nadi is closed to light vehicles at Sigatoka.

The Nadi Back Road is open to four-wheel-drive vehicles only and the Kings Rd from Rakiraki to Tavua is closed at Rakiraki Village and Korotale Rd.

All other main thoroughfares are open to all traffic.

However, motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling in heavy rain and to avoid crossing flooded areas wherever possible.
