Floodwater closes Suva street

Update: 5:23PM GREIG STREET in Suva has been closed to all traffic due to rising floodwaters.

This was confirmed by police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro.

"Please be advised that Greig St and the road behind MHCC has been closed and people are being advised to take alternative routes," Ms Naisoro said.

"The line of shops, where Suva Bookshop is, have been closed due to floodwaters."

Police are restricting movement in this area.
