Flooding recorded in Sanasana, Waicoba

Update: 2:08PM SOME settlements in Sigatoka were flooded this morning but no evacuation centre has been activated - yet.

Assistant district officer Filipe Cula said some settlements in Sanasana and Waicoba were under water earlier today but floodwaters were beginning to recede.

He said his office would await reports from other centres before making a decision on the opening of evacuation centres.
