Update: 12:55PM VILIAME Mata has been roped in to replace Pio Tuwai.

A statement from the Fiji Rugby Union said Tuwai is nursing an inflamed knee and will undergo further assessment and treatment.

"Following an assessment by Dr Eddie McCaig, both Fiji 7s Coach Ben Ryan and Tuwai were advised that he would need to go through a rehabilitation program to prepare him for the Hong Kong and Japan 7s," said the statement.

Meanwhile, Donasio Ratubuli was cleared of any injury and left with the team for Wellington early this morning.
