Wellington 7s: Tuwai dropped from team

Update: 11:15AM FORWARD Pio Tuwai has been ruled out of the Fiji team for the Wellington 7s next week.

Tuwai sustained a knee injury during the Las Vegas 7s tournament. Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan said Tuwai failed a fitness test conducted this morning.

He said a replacement would be named soon. Apisai Domolailai and Manoa Tamaya are the non-travelling reserves.

The national side departed this morning for the Wellington 7s which will be played on February 7-8.

Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, France and Spain.
