Fiji Airways cancels domestic flights

Update: 9:45AM FIJI Airways cancelled two domestic flights due to adverse weather conditions.

Managing director and CEO Stefan Pichler said bad weather forced the cancellation of a Nadi-Labasa-Nadi flight yesterday and a Nadi-Savusavu-Taveuni service this morning.

"A Nadi-Auckland flight yesterday afternoon was also delayed, however, all Fiji Airways international flights departed on time this morning," he said.

"As we've always stated, safety is our number one priority. Affected customers will put on subsequent flights once weather conditions allow."
