Update: 9:43AM NO-ONE should attempt to cross waterways during this time.

This was the warning by the director of the Fiji Meteorological Service Alipate Waqaicelua.

"Although we are holding off on issuing a flood alert for Nadi at the present time, we are asking people to refrain from crossing or attempting to cross any waterways in the Western Division at this time," he said.
