By FELIX CHAUDHARY
Thursday, January 30, 2014

Update: 9:30AM LOGGING operations in the Western Division are on hold due to adverse weather conditions.

Fiji Pine Limited executive chairman Faiz Khan said although there were no landslides reported as yet, he was closely monitoring the situation.

"We are taking precautions and ensuring the safety of our workers at the present time," he said.

"The wet weather means that we cannot conduct business but we are taking the safety of workers very seriously and this remains paramount."
