Thursday, January 30, 2014

AT least 26 reports of assault have been recorded in the Western Division so far this year.

West police spokeswoman Naina Ragigia said they were concerned with the rise in assault cases.

"Upon the initial investigation stages of these reports, we have found out that most of the assault cases were brought about during domestic disputes between couples," she said.

"The Fiji Police Force wishes to inform the public that all assault cases reported to us will be dealt with and investigated accordingly."
