Drug accused to appear in court

Update: 10:34AM A 53-year-old man will appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today for his alleged involvement in a robbery at the High Court Exhibit Room.

The accused is charged with one count of being in possession of illicit drugs.

Police arrested the accused earlier this week where he was allegedly found in possession of illicit drugs believed to have been stolen from the High Court Exhibit room, police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said in a statement released this morning.

Three people were also taken in for questioning but have been released as investigations continue, she said.
