Update: 1:15PM FIFTY- FIVE textbooks are being printed for primary and secondary schools around the country at a cost of $820,500.

Minister Filipe Bole said these books support the National Curriculum Framework which was deferred because of a lack of supporting resources and textbooks.

The books will be disbursed to the schools shortly.

The ministry said it looked forward to yet another successful year following the launch of its annual corporate plan earlier today in Suva.
