Raiwaqa

FOOTBALL

Lautoka

ALL registered Lautoka Football Association clubs and intending clubs for the 2014 season are requested to send two delegates for an important meeting at the Churchill Park canteen on January 29 starting at 5pm.

Business House

ELEVEN-a-side Southern businesshouse soccer competition will be held starting from February 8. Entry fee is $200. Only first 12 teams will be considered. Entry closes on January 31. Strictly for businesshouse. For more information contact 9846672.

Tailevu Naitasiri

THE Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association will host its AGM on January 29 at Vunimono High School at 7pm. Nominations for three vice-president positions and assistant secretary's position closes seven days before the AGM and all motions must reach the acting secretary 14 days prior to the AGM. All affiliated clubs are requested to attend the meeting.

GOLF

Ambassadors

THE Ambassadors Golf Day will be held at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Club on February 1. The tournament will be a two person Ambrose with shot gun tee off at 10am followed by lunch and prize giving. Entry fee: $275 per team and closes on January 25. HAPKIDO

YMCA classes

HAPKIDO classes are being held at the YMCA. Interested individuals above the age of 15 are welcome to attend. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm to 8pm. Contact Jare Lalakai 8736700.

NETBALL

Greenman Navosa

THE Senior squad training will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm at Lawaqa. Development players from under-16 to U20 are to attend trials on Tuesday 28th at Lawaqa car park at 5pm for Greenman tournament which will be held at Draiba. Contact Judy 9949410. Interested players are welcome to join the club. Also mixed teams are welcomed.

RUGBY

Hakwa 7s

THE Hakwa 7s series begins on February 1 at Lawaqa, Sigatoka. This will be a two tournament series with the first being the AIP 7s February 1, at Lawaqa in Sigatoka and the second being the Drua Kuata 7s February 8 at Lawaqa in Sigatoka. AIP 7s. Registration fee is $200 for the first 24 teams by 4pm Thursday January 30. Cup winner gets $2000. Prizes and points will also be given for plate and bowl competition. Drua Kuata 7s-registration fee is $300 for the first 24 teams. Cup winner gets $3000. Prizes and points will also be given for plate and bowl competition. All clubs are welcomed to participate. Teams that participate in both tournaments have a chance to accumulate points and win the Drua Hakwa 7s Series 2014 and $1000.00. Contact Tiko Matawalu on 6520833, or 7611374. THE Hakwa 10s series begins on February 14 at Lawaqa, Sigatoka. This will be a two tournament series with the first on February 14 and the second on February 21 at Lawaqa Sigatoka. Tournament 1 registration fee is $200 for the first 32 teams by 4pm Monday February 10. Cup winner gets $2500. Prizes and points will also be given for plate and bowl competition. Tournament 2 registration fee is $200 for the first 32 teams by 4pm Monday February 17. Cup winner gets $2500. Prizes and points will also be given for plate and bowl competition. All Clubs are welcomed to participate. Teams that participate in both tournaments have a chance to accumulate points and win the Hakwa 10s Series 2014 and $1000.00. Martintar

THE Martintar 7s tournament will be played at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from February 28 to March 1. Prizemoney: winner $3000, runner-up $1000. Attractive prizemoney for other categories. Registration fee is $300 per team. There are only 48 places and interested teams are advised to register early to avoid disappointment. Naitasiri U20

FINAL notice to the interested players wanting to represent Naitasiri under-20 to be at the training at 5pm at the Bidesi Park from Monday. This is part of the offseason training with the main team so everyone interested to represent Naitasiri U20 this year are requested to be present. It is compulsory training. New Vision 7s

FRU SGM

PLEASE be advised that the new date set for the SGM is Saturday, February 8, at Nadi's Tanoa International Hotel. The agenda items remain the same with registration starting from 9am-9.30am. Names of union delegates are to be submitted to the FRU by 4pm Monday, February 3.
