Meet to address poverty alleviation issues

Update: 12:06PM A STAKEHOLDERS' meeting on poverty alleviation and social protection started at Suva's Devos on the Park this morning.

The meeting is aimed at addressing the challenges faced by NGOs, community workers, government and faith-based organisations when addressing poverty issues in the country.

Opening the meeting, Minister for Women, Dr Jiko Luveni said the meeting would be an opportune time to convene, share and meaningfully contribute towards addressing specific indicators of poverty alleviation at global, regional and national level.
