Chandra wins overall event

ROHIT Chandra took out the overall gross title in the 18 holes stroke event at the Ba Golf Club on Sunday.

The University of the South Pacific engineering student scored 67. Rohit who plays on a handicap of five also hit the longest drive.

Sahil Singh won the overall nett title. He scored 56. Singh won the nearest to the pin prize. Mohammed Shariff won the A grade nett. Shariff scored 69.

Vishwa Nadan was second with 73 nett while Mike Nand was third with 75 nett.

Rajesh Prasad won the B grade. Prasad scored 66 nett. Sunil Sharma was second with 74 nett and Pradeep Chandra finished third with 77 nett.

Salesh Kumar won the C grade nett with a score of 71 while Binesh Prasad was second edging out Ashween Sharma on countback after both golfers scored 76 nett.
