THE Ministry of Women has already allocated $24,000 for the $48,000 Multi-Cultural Women's Resource Centre that was planned for Savusavu last year.

Minister for Women Dr Jiko Luveni said the centre would be built right next to the town's current market extension.

Dr Luveni said the project was part of the market extension in Savusavu which would cost the council $150,000.

Dr Luveni said the centre would provide a place for women to rest and refresh before continuing their activities at the market.
