Birthday in style

RFMF Chaplin Major Josevata Tikonatabua celebrated his birthday in style yesterday. Following the commander's first parade and a church service at the QEB compound, soldiers and the military band wished him happy birthday. Medals for outstanding service were presented to soldiers.


FULTON Hogan Hiways Joint Venture will rehabilitate and maintain 250km of sealed and 1400km of unsealed roads with works extending to most of Vanua Levu and parts of Taveuni. The company took over road rehabilitation in the Northern Division from Blacktop.

Arts festival

ARTISTS wishing to represent Fiji at the Melanesia Arts Festival can submit expressions of interest to the Fiji Arts Council. The 5th Melanesian Arts Festival will be held in Papua New Guinea. The festival theme is Celebrating Cultural Diversity.
