Red Beard One will defend the title against Somosomo Giants in the next round of competition.

Association official Erami Rasaubale said the inclusion of the challenge match had improved the competition level.

"The interest in Raiwaqa is also growing and we are happy with the turnout every Saturday."

Rasaubale confirmed the inclusion of Boston as one of the new clubs last week.

He said the door was still open for other interested clubs to join the association.

"The standard of competition has improved and we are looking forward to better performance from the participating clubs in the upcoming weeks."

Rasaubale said there no game would be played this weekend as the association would be preparing for the Vulaca Championship which would be held next weekend.

Meanwhile, X defeated Somosomo Giants 2-1 to win the knockout competition on Saturday.
