Nadi meeting deferred again

THE Nadi Airport Golf Club annual general meeting was deferred for a second time last Sunday.

The initial meeting was deferred last month after a lack of quorum.

The rescheduled meeting on Sunday was again deferred but this time because the financial report was not available.

Nadi Airport Golf Club president Chandra Segran Pillay said the meeting would now be held at the end of the month.

Pillay said it was good to see the members turn up for the meeting on Sunday after a lack of interest last month.

"Unfortunately our treasurer Balram is away overseas for a medical check-up," he said.

"Balram should be back next week and we will sort out the financial report."

The club will host the 18-hole stableford event this Saturday.
