NATURAL bath and body products manufacturer Pure Fiji was awarded a Good Manufacturing Practises certificate by overseas-based International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) auditors yesterday.

The company underwent several inspections by ISO auditors who travelled to Fiji for the on-site audit.

Pure Fiji director Gaetane Austin said the award was a good boost to their business, adding they could now tap into the European market.

"Pure Fiji is proud that this certification has been added to the list of many awards we have received for our locally-owned and operated company," Mrs Austin said.

ISO is a quality management system designed to help organisations ensure they meet the needs of customers and stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product.
