AN estimated $182,000 is needed by the Nadi Hospital Board of Visitors Trust to fund future upgrading projects.

Board chairman Mohammed Israr Khan said they would need financial assistance to upgrade the outpatients ward, children's ward and the overall renovation of the old hospital.

"Refurbishment of the outpatients ward has an estimated cost of $20,000 alone," Mr Khan said.

"The children's ward maintenance and extension has an estimated cost of $12,000."

He said for these projects to happen, the board would need more funding.
